Amazing Easter
What an amazing day. Easter worship rocked loud and proud!!! I am very thankful that I got to play in the worship band today. It has been over a year since I have played in a full band. I must admit it felt really good. I am looking forward to the day we have a full time praise and worship band at Sojourn. It would add so much and help people engage in worship. Special thanks to Al and the guys at Renown for letting us use their monster sound system. I cannot say enough good things about our sound tech, Tommy. Everyone said the mix was amazing!!! You got the ear bro!!!
Hooked up with several Sojourners at Mayfair park for an Easter Egg hunt and picnic. You can check out pics at my Flickr account. I think the Kids had a great time hunting for eggs and getting hopped-up on sugar.
In spite of a 4 hour nap (I will be up the rest of he night) I have been able to get a bunch accomplished. Photos to Flickr, Podcast edited and uploaded, emails about branding, signs, email addresses, worship schedule, web page edits… I need to start working on Easter worship confessional for the blog. That should be fun. I shot 8GB of video today with Toni’s help. That will be fun to edit through. I have looked a some of it. I need to find a better camera angle… Once people stand for worship all I see are elbows, butts, and back of heads… 
Life is good, Jesus is alive and defeated Satan, sin, and death… So live like it
