My reading list is getting out of control… but I like it!!! I have felt the need to add more diversity in my reading. So I have been scanning the New York Times book review and the NPR book review. I am not a fan of fiction/novels but I get REALLY excited of memoirs or journals.
Here is my book list as we enter 2008…
“Eat, Pray, Love” - Elizaeth Gilbert
“Three Cups of Tea” - Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin
“blink” - Malcom Gladwell
“The Tipping Point” - Malcom Gladwell
“Lake Wobegon Summer 1956” - Garrison Keillor
“Good Poems” - Garrison Keillor
“Lectures To My Students” - C.H. Spurgeon
“Life’s Ultimate Privilege” - DeVern Fromke
“Rethinking Worldview: Learning to Think, Live, and Speak in This World” - J. Mark Bertrand

I noticed your Amazon Wishlist was full of books.
I got a couple of books this Christmas. I’m excited to finally read Steven Colbert’s “I Am America and So Can You”. I think it’s going to be funny.
On the way back from Rucker one day I heard an excerpt from My Father’s Secret War: A memoir.
I was given the book for Christmas and look forward to making my way through it.
“One day, while trying to straighten up her elderly father’s apartment, Franks discovered Nazi military paraphernalia, inspiring the Pulitzer-winning reporter and novelist (Wild Apples) to investigate what he really did during the Second World War.”
I’m already beginning to read books more and more. I’ve recently been going through some public domain works on Google Books.
