Here my advice on eating.  Do not eat only one meal a day.  Rather, spread your caloric count out over 5 or 6 consumptions.  Eat your first meal as soon as you can when you get up.  Eat your last meal around 5pm, not later than 6.  Drink a couple of liters of water a day (always have a full Nalgene bottle at your side).

When you exercise you will quickly hit the wall because you will burn off your carbs quickly.  Don't stop because you are about to transfer to burning off fat. Speaking of which, while you transition to a measly caloric intake you will hit walls during the day.  There too, your body is switching to burning fat.  Embrace the pain and view it as tangible proof that change is occurring.  This is going to be a bear, but will be worth it.  Place the pain as a sacrifice at the altar of Jesus.  It's his body/temple anyway.

You can do all this through Christ who actually strengthens you.
