I have the amazing privilege of tagging along with David at the Acts29 Boot Camp in Raleigh,NC. It has been one of those defining moments in my life that I will be able to look back and know that is the spot God “wrecked me”. I am reminded of Prov.22:28 “ Do not move the ancient landmark that your fathers have set.” For me this Boot Camp has been a “Landmark”. It will be one of those times that I will be able to point to and say, “That is where the gospel began to saturate my life” or “That is the place where I got my priorities inline with the gospel” or “That is where God solidified the call pastoral ministry and church planting”.
It has been a time of refreshing but also a time of conviction and repentance. God was able to pinpoint areas that are out of alignment and has began to show how to correct those things. God broke me with the following hymn…
O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I’m constrained to be!
Let Thy goodness, like a fetter,
Bind my wandering heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above.
I want my heart bound to God. I desire so much that everything in my life to glorify God and be saturated with the gospel and exalt Jesus.
