Weekend Mind Dump…

Sojourn Church met at Big Spring Park to worship, pray, learn and proclaim the Gospel in the center of our city. Our desire is to be a city within a city that impacts it with the gospel.
Beauregard’s for lunch with 15-20 friends. Hot Wings and Beer… glorious!!!
Drove to Decatur to fix my mom’s car. She had a flat tire. Ended up having to buy her a new tire. I am a good son like that
Took a nap on my leaking air mattress.
Went to Kroger to to buy groceries… They are remodeling and there was the most horrific smell ever in that place. It was a mix between vomit, raw sewage, and deli meat. It was impossible to breath in there much less buy groceries. Plus, they were using a feather duster to get the dust off the produce. We drove to Publix. Better choice.
Made a banana sandwich and a large bowl of fruit salad… yummy dinner.
Ordered my books for school classes… $130 worth. I am officially tired of spending money… believe it or not.
Sent this semesters tuition to school along with my class registration form.
My Logos bible software will be here tomorrow… all $1000 of it… I am thankful for 8 monthly payments.
I am jonesing for more tattoos…. but letting my ears grow up…
I am curious how well I will fit in with professors and students in my seminary classes.
Wendy and I hung out at Starbucks and talked about the future and our take on the ‘The Alchemist’.
Drove to the lake to pick up the girls.
I wish I had a better relationship with my extended family… Many issue tp sort through.
1 Timothy 5:8 has been haunting my thoughts for several weeks.
I have been meditating on the following passages… Mat.6:33, Mat. 5:8, Job 23:12, Psa.63:1

I have a ton of reading to do before classes start.
I dislike my job and want to work in a ministry or academic setting.
Deep down I want to be a Monk, live in solitude, and write.
