I have been found…

Well…

I guess that is the beauty of the Internet. There is no place to hide.

I began this blog as a place for spiritual in-site and growth. Perhaps spark conversation/dialog/learning… I have thought many times of making it “more” public (i.e. telling people about it) But I refrained. One thing I am starting to practice in my life is letting God make opportunity available. I have the propensity to force action to get a specific result. This has gotten me into more trouble and caused more heartache than I care to mention.

A few weeks ago I was told God, “if you want my blog public, you will have to do it… I am not telling anyone…” Once again God in his sovereignty has shown me he is active and personally interested in my life. Bob found my blog. Stop for a minute and marvel at the magnificence of God… Look at God moving behind the scenes to make this a reality. My mind is blown… All I can do is bow and worship.

The sovereignty of God has changed my life. This doctrine was NEVER taught or talked about in ANY church I have attended since coming to faith in 1992. Acknowledging God’s sovereignty has awakened my spirit and changed my focus. In the past I was focused on “what I can do for God”. Now the focus is “What opportunities has God made available”. The focus is no longer on me doing anything. The focus is on God and getting on-board with what he is doing”. This is the essence of true liberty in Christ.

You should have stopped by First Bible Church on Spring Avenue. Your reformed theology shots would have been administered every Sunday AM.
